Understanding Modbus-TCP: A Mainstream Industrial Communication Protocol
Modbus-TCP is an Ethernet-based version of the Modbus protocol, widely used for communication among automation devices. Compared to traditional serial Modbus, it leverages the standard TCP/IP protocol stack to support multi-master communication, fast data transmission, and flexible topology—making it ideal for modern PLCs, I/O modules, and edge devices.

Each module is equipped with a clear LED indication system:
  • Green Power LED: module power status
  • Green/Red BUS LED: network connection and communication status
  • Yellow STAT / Red ERR per port: real-time communication and fault indication
They also support disconnection logging: users can read the number of disconnections per port via Modbus registers (e.g., register 30002 corresponds to C1), supporting remote monitoring and predictive maintenance.

Industrial-Grade Reliability
The modules feature high-strength flame-retardant plastic housing and M12 industrial connectors. With IP67 protection, they operate reliably in harsh environments—humidity, dust, or vibration—within a temperature range of -20°C to 55°C.
