Application case of bus module in express logistics drop-off sorting line

SENTINEL provided a distributed IO solution of Industrial Ethernet Profinet protocol IP20 for a domestic logistics equipment company. The length of the drop sorting line is more than 100 meters, and there is a sensor and an emergency stop button plus an alarm light every 0.7 meters. Particularly decentralized IO connection to PLC increases construction workload and cable cost. To this end, SENTINEL independently provided a distributed IO solution for a domestic logistics equipment company.

Customer benefits: The 170-meter ring sorting line is divided into 14 sub-stations, and the sub-stations are connected with the sub-stations by a Profinet communication cable, and the sensors and alarm lights are connected to the sub-stations. Since then, the customer has achieved modular manufacturing and modular assembly on site. Component and labor costs are reduced by approximately 40%.
